London, UK, Monday, July 7th, 2008 - Videalert Limited today announces that version 3 of its real-time video analytics system is available for customer distribution. The major feature of this new release contains significant enhancements to Videalert Traffic Compliance (VTC), the combination of feeds from 2 cameras simultaneously, such that traffic offences can be recorded in real-time and PCN’s issued from the resulting video, overcoming all the legal issues that have prevented this being done in the past. Field trials of this have been completed successfully with several Local Councils already.
In addition to the new VTC features, further developments to increase the number of cameras that can be supported concurrently from a single platform have been made and further camera support has been added.
